I stopped in for some catfish to go. It came with 2 sides. I chose fries and slaw. It was SO good! The fish was perfectly fried and very tasty. The fries were pretty average but that slaw was excellent! The staff was very friendly and polite. While watching for my order, I was chatting with another customer who ordered pork steaks. He said he gets them often because they are so good. He said he wanted their pork chops smothered in gravy with mashed potatoes but they were sold out. It sounds like I need to try the pork steaks and the pork chops on my next visits. That is, if I can force myself to not order that delicious catfish again.
Best Damn Chicken Around. This place is still killing it with great food and smiling faces. If you haven't been here you need to stop by soon.
Lovett's Soul Food has excellent, spectacular, delicious, made to order entrées. The prices here are reasonable, great customer service and street parking is available. Soul Food at its best. Must Try Restaurant. Enjoy!
I have only been here once and do to everything that is going on in the world it was grab and go. But the Fried Chicken is amazing and you will not be disappointed at all!!!
Had a cool dish which was pretty much pig skin drenched in bbq sauce. Got there late one day and they still had food and staff was pretty nice. They do need to work on keeping the place tidy - bathroom doors did not lock either. Food 5 stars, place 3 stars.
Excellent food. Friendly staff. If your impatient and can't wait a few minutes then take yourself down to the McDonalds. Food this good takes a little time. Enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. Love it.
What a find!! After many tries, we finally made it! Snoots and wings with a side of Mac N Cheese... Absolutely delicious! And the somethin' somethin' on the fries was a great touch. We'll definitely be back...it'll be a tough decision to what to try next!!
